Cost-effective, comfortable boots

After having trouble for several years with turning my ankle on uneven surfaces I decided to try tactical boots.
I tried a few on and had settled on another brand until I went to the local store and found these for about $50. Well worth the money.
I tried these on in a 12W and fell in love. I can't stand wearing any other shoes anymore. I love the support and warmth these give with the 3M thinsulate.Now I'm a man that hates shoes that get too hot.
I was a little leary of how these would perform and how hot they would get especially in the sun.
These actually stay cooler than most shoes I wear when outside yet maintain a good comfortably warm temperature inside.
The zipper is really heavy duty and is wonderful for quick on quick off.
Small degree of difficulty getting them on in the mornings when they are cold but nothing like what I expected.
Will write another review after 6 months of daily wear and tear. So far I'm sold on my next pair of boots when these wear out.
Wouldn't change a thing.
